Discover The Plattsburgh Farmers Market

Plattsburgh Farmers’ and Crafters’ Market celebrates its 30th year of operation this year.  The Market provides an opportunity for local farmers, crafters, artisans, brewers, distillers, and gardeners to showcase their fine food, goods, and crafts.  The Market provides our community with a lovely weekend event to sample local foods and spirits, enjoy live music, visit with neighbors and friends, with special events planned during the season for children.

In an article featured last year in Strictly Business, written by Justine Parkinson, the atmosphere offered by the Plattsburgh Farmers’ and Crafters’ Market was described beautifully. “The Saranac River flows by in the background, adding to the scene’s bucolic charm. With offerings as diverse as biscotti, specialty jerky, wood crafts, kitchen décor, jewelry, honey and more, the market, now in its 29th year, is a hub of activity, a place to see and be seen, to support local growers, producers and crafters, and catch up with old friends and perhaps make some new ones.”
